OIB, known as Ocean Isle Beach, located in North Carolina is the perfect honeymoon destination!  Ocean Isle Beach is known for it’s beautiful weather, perfect temperatures and all around beach environment.  OIB has been a vacation favorite for tourists for decades, year after year tourists flock to OIB to enjoy this family friendly beach.  Ocean Isle Beach provides a safe and fun environment for people of all ages, but is close to Wilmington and Myrtle Beach if you want to head to the “big city.”

Are you and your sweetie avid fishing gurus?  Like to walk miles of beach without the crowds and loud music?  Want to eat a meal while looking at the beautiful marshes, Intracoastal Waterway, or the Atlantic Ocean?  OIB is the place to be!  The Isles, located on the West end of the island serves fantastic food and breathtaking views of the ocean.   Need a place to stay for a few days?  The Islander Inn, located just around the traffic circle provides oceanfront rooms, an oceanfront pool with tiki bar and awesome amenities!

Head down to the East end of the island and check out the view of the Intracoastal Waterway and the marshes that are home to birds, crabs, dolphins, and more!  Ferry Landing Park, includes a fishing pier and a walkway that parallels the marshes.  There’s a gazebo that provides some awesome views of the sunrise and sunset, you’re guaranteed to snap some outstanding pictures!  While walking on the beach, make sure to pay attention to the shore, seashells are abound!  You could literally spend days finding seashells, while finding Whelks, Sandollars, etc!
